Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at the Caressant Care Nursing Home, Cobden, Ontario on Monday, August 1, 2016 at the age of 85 years. Wife by first marriage to the late Leo Denault and by second marriage to the late Lester Chassie. Loving mother of Joyce (late Darwin Cruise), Jeanne (Rolland Lariviere), Paul (Beverly Richardson), Mona (Randy Powell) and Leonard. Dear sister of Reggie Chaput and Cecile Sullivan. Cherished grandmother of Denise (Rob Weckwerth) and Natalie Chassie, Andre (Rebecca Rock), Chantalle and Christal Lariviere (Evan Loback), Daniel (Sarah Ducharme) and Rachel Chassie, Dustin (René Schryer), Summer and Hayley Denault and Jordan and Beau Denault (Jennifer Ken). Great grandmother of Denieka, Marley, Javen, Korey, Colton, Aniston, Scarlett, Leo, Élise, Caleb, Shirah, Naomi, Hudson, Walker, Laken, Madison and Ruby and great great grandmothter of Tiana. Predeceased by her children Gail, Stephen and Ethel and also her brothers and sisters; Cora Gaudette, Lily Sullivan, Madeleine Sullivan, Rheal and Remi Chaput.
