World War ll Veteran Peacefully at the Manoir Sacre Coeur, Mansfield, Quebec, on Sunday, May 29, 2016 at the age of 96 years. Son of the late Joseph Fleury and the late Georgina Gauthier. Rodolphe has rejoined his wife Rena who predeceased him on July 1, 1988. Loving and caring father of Cheryl Stokoe (late Dale-2004) and Carmen Curtis (Wayne) and predeceased by sons Reggie (Anne), Philippe and Donat (Jeannelle). The last of 9 children; Treffle, Lionel, Blanche, Jeanne, Rita, Claire, Cézar and Jean-Paul. Grandpa to 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Fondly remembered by his best friend and companion Adrienne Kenney. Will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, neighbours and friends. Rodolphe was a Second World War Veteran, a farmer and a dairy producer, a wonderful gardener and a good cook. Friends may call at Hayes Funeral Home, 195 rue Principale, Fort Coulonge, PQ on Thursday, June 2, 2016 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, June 3 at 11:00 in St. Pierre Church, Fort Coulonge. Interment Parish Cemetery. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Pontiac Community Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
