It is with deep sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Samantha Prezeau of Bryson, Quebec, on Saturday, June 1st 2024 at the young age of 54. Sam bravely battled cancer for over a decade, showing immense strength and resilience until the end. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the incredible staff at the Shawville hospital that took care of Sam like their own.

Sam is survived by her loving and devoted wife Rebecca, and her cherished stepdaughters Sarah and Heather. She also leaves behind her beloved older sisters Nathalie (Eric) and Paola (Alain), her treasured nieces Cassandra, Danielle and Nicole and her precious great-nephews Samuel and Luca. Predeceased her parents Paul and Denise (Beauvais) Prezeau.

A true nature lover, Sam found joy and solace in the great outdoors. She was a backyard musician, filling her home and gatherings with melodies and a Jill of all trades, capable of turning her hand to anything. Known for her boundless spirit, Sam brought people together and lived life with unparalleled zest. Her infectious smile, kindness, and enthusiasm for life will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
