Nécrologie de Olive Mallette (nee Woermke)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Olive Deloreen Mallette (Woermke) of Portage-du-Fort, Quebec on Saturday, June 1st 2024 at the age of 92.  Daughter of the late Arthur Woermke and Katie Schaven.  Beloved wife of the late Wilmar Mallette.  Loving mother of Jeffrey of Pembroke, Ontario and Rheo (Sarah Taylor) of Portage-Du-Fort, Quebec.

Cherished and adored Nanny to 4 grandchildren; Myles (Lindsay Chisholm), Madison, Brittany (Casey Griffin) and Brooke (Simon Corriveau).

Dear sister of the late Myrtle (Linden) Young, late Leslie Woermke, late Gordon Woermke, late Shirley (Gerald) Thomas, late Donald (Joan) Woermke.  Survived by her brother Allen (late Dorothy) Woermke.  Olive will also be missed by many of her nieces, nephews and friends.

The family would like to give a sincere thanks to her wonderful neighbours Carolyn ‘Putt’ Curtis and Elaine Kelly for taking such great care of her over the years.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, June 6, 2024 in St. James the Greater Church, Portage-du-Fort, Quebec at 2 p.m.  Interment parish cemetery.
