Nécrologie de Shirley Thoms (nee Ireland)

Passed away peacefully on Monday morning surrounded by her loving family August 21, 2023 at the age of 88. Daughter of the late Gerald Ireland and the late Dorothy Lucas. Beloved wife of Roy Thoms that she shared 64 wonderful years of marriage. Loving and devoted mother of Randy (Pam) and Brian (Sheri). Special and adored grandmother of Kathryn (Nathan Fraser), Graham, Taylor (Josh Brennen) and Jayme (Ryan Watts). Dear sister of Diane (late Dean Plager). Predeceased by her siblings Iris (Cyril Smiley) and Blair (Anne). Shirley will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews as well as her extended family.

Shirley’s family wishes to offer a special thank you to all of the nursing staff at the Pontiac Community Hospital for the wonderful care she received.

Friends may call at the Hayes Funeral Home, 134 Centre Street, Shawville, Quebec on Friday, August 25, 2023 from 9 to 11 a.m. followed by a chapel service in the funeral home at 11 a.m. Interment will be taking place in Maple Grove Cemetery.
