Nécrologie de Doreen Lance

Doreen Lance, a woman known for her beautiful character, sweet nature, kindness and caring spirit, left us on Saturday, July 22, 2023, at the age of 70. 

Doreen is survived by her son, Michael (Jason) and her daughter, Rachel (Chris).  Her legacy also lives on in her beloved grandchildren; Mackenzie, Félix  and William Goudreault.  Her family formed the heart and soul of her world, their lives deeply intertwined with hers in an unbreakable bond of love.

She was predeceased by her parents, Sylvia Kluke and Alfred Lance, who welcomed her into this world and shaped the wonderful woman she became.  Their love laid the foundation for the love she would pour into her own family and everyone she met.

Perhaps the best symbol of Doreen's caring heart was her love for her pets.  She is undoubtedly soaring high with her beloved dog, Precious.  Her puppy, Luna, as well as her grand-puppies, Maggie, Koda, Kairi and Skittles, will dearly miss her.  Her passing from this world is a great loss to all, but memories of her will live on in the hearts of those she touched.

A Celebration of Life for Doreen took place on Sunday, August 13, 2023 at Relais plein air du parc de la Gatineau, 397 Boulevard de la Cité-des-Jeunes, Gatineau, Quebec.  It was an occasion to remember the joy she brought into our lives and to celebrate the legacy of love and kindness she leaves behind.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 in St. John the Evangelist Chuch, 160 Front Street, Campbell's Bay, Quebec at 11 a.m.  Interment parish cemetery.

Donations in memory of Doreen Lance may be made to the Canadian Breast Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
