Nécrologie de Michael Heeney

Michael Milton Heeney “Mike” of Danford Lake, Quebec passed away peacefully on March 21st 2023, following his battle with cancer at the age of 59.

Born October 16th 1963 to David Heeney and Vaida Erley, Mike dedicated his life to trucking across the provinces with a Tim Horton’s coffee in hand and a smile on his face.  He is survived by his siblings Velvet (Jean, nephew Marco), Neal (June) and Vivian (Denis), girlfriend Tasha and nieces Courtney (Adam) and Meghan. Mike is fondly remembered by extended family, friends and co-workers.

Thank you to the wonderful staff and second floor nurses at Wakefield Memorial Hospital for providing Mike with incredible care and comfort until the end of his journey.

A memorial and celebration of life will follow at a later date in 2023. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made on behalf of Mike to the Canadian Cancer Society or to Diabetes Canada.
