Nécrologie de Michael Vanasse

Michael John “Shag” Vanasse passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at the age of 64.  Beloved partner of Wendy Murray.  Loving father of Michelle (John Romain) and Christopher (Jennifer Boire).  Caring grandfather of Sophie, Macie, PJ and Olivia.  Predeceased by his parents Michael John Vanasse and Jean Ward, his sisters Annie and Colleen and his son Clayton.  He will be missed by sisters Joan, Margaret, Jean and godson Robbie Turner as well as many nieces and nephews. 

Friends may call at Hayes Funeral Home, 56 St. Jacques Street, Chapeau, Quebec on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 from 10 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.  Mass will follow in St. Alphonsus Church at 1 p.m.  As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Fondation CLSC Pontiac would be appreciated.
