Robert "Lorne" McRae was born Aug. 10, 1935, in Danford Lake, Quebec and died at the Pontiac Reception Centre, Shawville, Quebec, on Sunday, September. 16, 2018.  Son of the late William Henry "Harry" McRae and Alice (Martineau) McRae.  Survived by brothers John and Frank, and sister-in-law, Eileen Schwartz-McRae.  Predeceased by brother Clifford and sister Mary Wiggins, brother-in-law Ray Wiggins, and special nephew Robert Wiggins (Judy Alexander).  Loving uncle to Isabel Wiggins (Douglas Schwartz).  A special great uncle of Mark Schwartz (Jane O'Shaughnessy), Shawn Schwartz (Meaghan McCann), Virginia Schwartz (Jeff Freeborn) and Adam Wiggins (Sarah Patry.)  Great-great uncle of Heidi, Jack, and Sawyer Schwartz; Oliver, Anabelle, and Fletcher Schwartz; and Lucas and Charlotte Wiggins. Lorne was a long time employee of Camp B'nai Brith, Ottawa Lodge, Quyon, Quebec.

Funeral Service in the Hayes Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. Interment Mohr’s Cemetery. Donations to Pontiac Community Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
