Nécrologie de George Sullivan

George Sullivan of Allumette Island, Quebec, passed away peacefully in the Shawville hospital on December 31, 2023. George was 91 years of age and predeceased by his adoring wife Sharon (2017).

Loving father of Melodie (Scott Armstrong), Tim (Eveline Lemay), Kimberley (Greg Cornthwaite) and Gerald.  Cherished grandfather of Emily, Russell, Nolan, Myra and Cassie. Son of the late Victor Sullivan and Theresa Burke.  Dear brother of Rita and Margaret (André Pilon) as well as  his predeceased siblings Lawrence (infant), Sister Clare, Helen, Paul and Desmond. 

George truly loved life, recognized the importance and impact of laughter and was able to brighten up any room he walked into.  George will be greatly missed by everyone who was fortunate enough to meet him.

Friends may call at Hayes Funeral Home, 95 rue St. Jacques, Chapeau, Quebec on Sunday, January 7, 2024 from 1 to 5 p.m. and on Monday from 9 to 9:40 a.m.  Funeral Mass will follow in St. Alphonsus Church at 10 a.m.
