Nécrologie de Viola "Vi" Coyne (nee Lepine)

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Vi, surrounded by loved ones on Sunday, April 9, 2023 in her 95^th year.

She left this life to join her beloved husband Ronald of 60 years.  Vi was the cherished mother of Marsha (Darryl Currie-Mills).  She was the last surviving member of her family.  Predeceased by her parents, Cyril Lepine and Lillian McCallum as well as her six siblings.  Fondly remembered by her brothers-in-law Owen, Kevin Coyne and many nieces and nephews.

Vi was an integral part of the Bryson Theatre operations alongside her husband Ronald.  She continued to run a thrift shop for many years, was a skilled seamstress, loved crocheting, working with her silk flowers and could repair anything with a glue gun.  Her hands were rarely still.  Eternally grateful to her best friend Mary Bastien of over 50 years and to Jennifer Sicard who helped to keep Mom in her home for as long as she did.  Sincere appreciation and gratitude to her family of caregivers at the Valentine Centre.  Special thanks to the Dr’s and the staff of the Pontiac Community Hospital for their tireless understanding and compassion. 

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, April 28, 2023 in Immaculate Conception Church, Bryson, Quebec at 11 a.m. 

In lieu of flowers, those wishing, may make a memorial donation to the Valentine Centre or the Immaculate Conception Church.
