Nécrologie de Theresa Blaskie (nee Kelly)

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family in Shawville, Quebec on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at the age of 93. Daughter of the late James Kelly and the late Agnes Dunn. Loving wife of 67 amazing years to Paul Blaskie (2018). Dear mother of James (Darlene), Robert, Debra and Barry (Brenda). Special grandmother of James Jr. (Josée), Kyle, Terri-Lyn, Clayton, Collin, Samantha, Brandon, Brooke (Luke) and Brody and great grandmother of Ryker and Kayson Loving sister of Lois. Predeceased by her siblings; Greg, Leona, her twin sister Margaret and Pat. Theresa will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews and extended family. 

Born in Vinton, mom grew up loving music, attending music school in Renfrew to enhance her skills, she was fun loving and was the entertainment at many house gatherings with family and friends. She also supported the community as the organist for St. Charles Church for many years. Her education at Teachers College got her to a small school house in the Picanoc…it led her to meet the love of her life for almost 70 years…they made Otter Lake their home…

Friends may call at the Hayes Funeral Home, 134 Centre Street, Shawville, Quebec on Sunday, June 19, 2022 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, June 20 in St. Charles Borromeo Church, Otter Lake, Quebec at 2 p.m. Interment parish cemetery. Donations to Friends of St-Joseph's Manor would be greatly appreciated.
