Nécrologie de Lila Florence Dale

Lila Florence Dale (Dagg) born 1924, passed peacefully at home in St. John’s NL on October 12, 2021.
Predeceased by her husband Lloyd Dale, daughter, Margaret Thomson (Don Thomsom) and son Fred. Also gone before her, siblings Frederick Dagg (Lorna), John Dagg (Ethel) and Anne (Bill Pirie).
Left to mourn, daughters, Cheslyn, Sandra (Ken Bernard) and Marie, whom she resided with for the past four years. A beloved Nana to Tabitha (Sam Dinicol), and their children Arden and Iris, Fallon (Josh Gluck) and their children Jane, Lincoln and Diana, and Jillian (Tyler) Videto and their son Luke.
Mom remained active and vital to the last few weeks of her life, making pickles, and pies. An avid gardener, seamstress, quilter and cook, mom has left many with the bounty of her knowledge and shared generously of all she had. Mom you are loved, and you will be missed by all who had the honor of knowing you.
Following the visitation in St. John’s there will be a service and interment in her hometown of Shawville, Quebec.

Friends may call at Hayes Funeral Home, 134 Centre Street, Shawville, Quebec on Saturday, October 16, 2021 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Followed by a Chapel Service at 2 p.m.  Interment in Maple Grove Cemetery.  Donations to the Villa James Shaw or the Muscular Dystrophy of Canada would be appreciated.
