Nécrologie de Thelma Schroeder (nee Thoms)

Peacefully in hospital, long term unit, Shawville, Quebec on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at the age of 91.  Beloved wife of the late Rudy Schroeder (1992).  She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Sylvia “Sue” and son-in-law Michael Furtner.  Loving Granny to her granddaughters Heidi, Zoë and Astrid. Predeceased by her parents Edward Thoms and Hanna Steinke, her sisters Lydia (Arthur Preston) and Alma (Louis Dahms).  Mom spent her good years on the farm and drove a school bus.  Hoping that she can be back on the farm again where she was most happy.    

Friends may call at Hayes Funeral Home, 134 Centre St., Shawville, Quebec, on Monday, July 26, 2021 from 10 to 12 p.m.  Graveside Service will take place in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Ladysmith, Quebec at 1:30 p.m.  Donations to the Pontiac Community Hospital Foundation, Long Term Unit or the St. John’s Lutheran Church would be appreciated.
