Nécrologie de Barrie Gauthier

On Sunday January 3rd 2021, after a battle with cancer, at the age of 74, Barrie finally got to rest. He leaves behind his wife of 50 years Sheila (nee Rebertz). His daughter Lynn (Mike Dubeau) and his little one, Kersten (Jeff Houldcroft). Pre-deceased by his parents Hilliard and Clara (nee Kluke) as well as his brothers Raymond and Gerald (June). Survived by his sisters Mildred (Albert) and Marjorie (Desi). Son-in-law to Meryle (Sparling) and the late Hilliard Rebertz. Brother-in-law to Helen (Neil), Barry (Lise), Brian (Karen), Dale (Nancy), Royce, Ronnie (Jeanne), Floyd (Kerry), Ward (Lucy), Kerry and Kevin (Tammy). Uncle, great uncle and great great uncle to many. Barrie was a lover of nature, whether hunting, fishing or just spending time at the farm. He spent 50 years of his life working in the bush starting at age 13 and retiring at 63. He was involved with the Otter Lake Volunteer Fire Department for a time and was proud of it, therefore donations in his name to this organization or to the Palliative Care unit at the Pontiac Community Hospital Foundation would be appreciated. Service to be held at a later date.
