Nécrologie de Edward Tanner

Born at Cawood, Quebec on December 20th, 1939. Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family on December 24, 2020 after a brief battle with cancer. Devoted husband of Shirley Ann Bell of more than 60 years. Loving father of Lawrence (Anne), Jeffrey (Mavis), Janet (Luc), Tiger (Chantal) and Kelly and beloved grandfather to his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Archibald Tanner and Emma Fierobin. Survived by sisters Freda (Elbourne Bean) and Ola (late Roderick Telford). Ed was an active member of his community, serving as board member of the Pontiac Agricultural Society, Shawville and District Minor Hockey and the Shawville Recreation Association. Long standing member of the Shawville Curling Club. Private funeral Mass at St. Edward the Confessor Church, Bristol, Quebec. Donations to the Pontiac Community Hospital Foundation, Palliative Care Unit would be appreciated. Gone from our sight, still in our hearts…
