Nécrologie de Ray Daisy Coulis

Peacefully on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at Bella Senior Care Home in Niagara Falls, Ontario, twenty-five days short of her 102 birthday. Beloved mother of Cairine Joyce Coulis-Brown. Adored grandmother of Alexander Coulis Brown and Graham Isador Michael Brown. Predeceased by her her husband Isador Michael Coulis and siblings Charles Budd, Roy Lathem, and Joyce Fauteux as well as her son-in-law David Leslie Brown. Ray will be missed by her many nieces and nephews. Ray was a talented pianist and played for many years at Bristol Ridge Pentecostal Church. She continued to enjoy playing hymns and new music her entire life. Along with her husband, Ray was an excellent steward of the farm she took over from her parents, Hiram and Maude (Spong-Budd) Lathem. She loved the land delighting in a newly mowed field of hay, a ripening crop of corn or oats, not to mention the produce of her huge kitchen gardens that meant her family and anyone who sat at her table would be well fed and welcome. Ray moved to Niagara Falls, Ontario in 2011 to be closer to her daughter and grandsons but returned home to be laid to rest. As per her wishes a private graveside service will be held.
