Nécrologie de Suzanne "Cookie" Egan (nee Leclerc)

Surrounded by the family and friends she loved, Cookie passed away peacefully on Monday, January 14, 2019 in hospital, Shawville, Quebec. Born May 7, 1946 to the late René and Anne (Smith) Leclerc. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Bob, her sister, Betty (Elizabeth Paul) and brother-in-law, Roy. Left to mourn are her companion Gerard “Giggy” Trudeau, her children Heather and Dan, grandchildren Austin, Roy (Rori Richardson) and Kate Duggan, and Willis, Dalton and Patricia Egan, her sister; Patricia (Wilbert Fahey), sister-in-law, Judy (Garry Soulière), her best friend of 60 years, Arleen (Tom Blondin) and Roselyn (Wayne Labelle). Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Cookie will be missed by her many friends, including those at Thursday night cards and Quyon Lionettes. Our gratitude to Dr Croteau and the awesome staff of our local hospital in Shawville for their amazing care of Mom this week. Friends may call at Hayes Funeral Home, 134 Centre Street, Shawville, Quebec on Thursday, January 17, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  There will be no visitation on service day.  Funeral Friday, January 18 at 11 a.m. in St. Andrew’s Knox United Church, Bristol, Quebec. Interment to follow in the spring.  Donations to the Quyon Lionettes or the Pontiac Community Hospital Foundation – ER dept would be appreciated.
