Nécrologie de Faye Howard (nee Moore)

After a short but courageous battle with cancer and surrounded by her loving family, Faye passed away peacefully in time to meet Robert for supper. Beloved wife of the late J. Robert Howard for 46 years. Loving mother of James (Lillias), Glenna, Laurie, Larry (Stacy) and Katherine. Adored Grandma to Lindsay (Michael) and Ryan, Shawn (Julie), Joey and Jason Donnelly. Beloved daughter of the late Freaman and Laura (Moorhead) Moore. Cherished sister of Richard (Linda), Bert (late Liz), Charles (Maureen) and the late David Moore. Sister-in-law of the late Doreen (JR) Maloney and Fred (Barb) Howard. Loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. Known as Grandma to so many, especially Jake. Faye was an avid baker, winning many prizes at the Shawville Fair for her amazing pies, tea biscuits and bread, and everyone wanted some of her icicle pickles. Faye was a member of the Shawville Lionettes and the Starks Corners U.C.W. as well as an avid quilter and knitter, making socks and scarves for many. Friends may call at Hayes Funeral Home, 134 Centre Street, Shawville, Quebec on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday, December 20 from 11:30-1:30.  A Lionettes Service will be held Wednesday evening at 8:30 p.m. Funeral in Stark’s Corners United Church on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. Donations to Stark’s Corners Cemetery or Stark’s Corners United Church would be appreciated.
