It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of  James (Jim) Crawford of Campbell’s Bay, Quebec, with his family by his side on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at the age of 79.   

Jim was born December 14th, 1938 on the family farm in Campbell’s Bay to Ervin and Myrtle (nee Peever).  A dedicated farmer, husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather he always had time for family.  Well known within the community for his big heart and helping hand.

Survived by his loving wife Noëlla (nee Dubeau), his sons and daughters; Sheila (Wayne Brown), Richard (Rebecca Warren), Terry and Jennifer (Brad Harris); his grandchildren Stephanie, Alex, Jessica, Sarah, Abigail, Madison, Bryant; great-grandchildren Rozlyn, Peyton and Jase; his brother Dale/Jack (Wendy) and many great nieces and nephews.  Jim was predeceased by his parents along with siblings Jean, Beulah, Leonard, David and Myles.  He will be remembered fondly by all.

Friends may call at Hayes Funeral Home, 134 Centre Street, Shawville, Quebec on Friday, October 19, 2018  from  2-4 and 7-9 p.m.   There will be no visitation on Saturday. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. in the Free Methodist Church, Campbell’s Bay, Quebec.

Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Campbell's Bay Litchfield Fire Department or the Free Methodist Church.  The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the medical staff and paramedics of the Shawville Hospital and the CLSC.
